9 a.m. Thursday morning EDT would certainly be pretty cruel. I could
phone into a meeting as early as 10 a.m. EDT. It would not be my
preference, but I can do it. 9 a.m. is not so do-able.

I don't think there's necessarily a big difference between a Wednesday
afternoon meeting and an early-morning meeting on Thursday (well,
except for us West-Coast types). There are only a few hours of
possible analysis time between the two. Of course, depending on
people's schedules, that might be a crucial few hours.

This seems reasonable. I'll likely be able to call in, but anyone
going to the APS meeting from the East Coast would have much more
trouble. (This raises the question of who else, if anyone, is going to
the meeting.) Brad, I assume that the April meeting is the reason for
the possible cancellation?
Best,
Diana
