The fact that it is so flat is curious...

The trigger rate, reals rate, and background rates all changed by a huge
factor over that momentum range, yet the probability of a 'bad' events
stayed constant at 2.5 out of every 100 triggers.  That should be
telling us something, but I'm not sure what right now...
