[Dcouncil] D & I Logos

Myung,

Here are my comments:

I like logos "A," "B," & "C" because they incorporate the people emphasis. I think the cursive text "Diverse in Community" would get lost on a T-shirt. I would use non-cursive text as depicted in "E' or "F." The text color will depend on the T-shirt color so that proper contrast can be realized.

I like the logo in "B" because it is simple. I also like"A" because of the CEBAF connection, but is a bit busy for a T-shirt.
"C" is also busy with the particle orbits. However, if the orbits were smaller and did not intersect the people, it would be my 2nd choice.

Hope that helps!

Butch

Subject: [Dcouncil] D & I Logos

Dear D & I council members,

The attached file has proposed D&I logos. Please look at them and give
me some feedback/suggestion (good, bad or anything). We need to enter
our logo on the t-shirts competition this year, but the time is running
out really fast. The deadline for the t-shirt entrance is March 11th, so
we will need to vote on the logo on our March 10th meeting.

Since the time is so short, please send any comment/suggestion about
logos directly to me. I will try my best (with help from EM friends) to
incorporate those comments/suggestions to create new logos before the
meeting.

Thanks,
Myung
