[Dcouncil] World Culture day map status

All,

The first day of displaying map for World Culture Day wasn't as smooth as I had hoped. There were several issues:

1.       After first 20 pins, all other user pins are showing up as [cid:image001.png at 01D50F17.7A107120] . The information for those users are still there, but they just don't show up on the list in the left hand. If you want to see them, you can do this. [cid:image002.png at 01D50F18.7A621E20]  I am still trying to figure out if I can increase the number of entries to more than default 20.

2.       Once you zoom in to the location, it takes a while to zoom out to show the World view. It's a lot faster to go back to the World view by close IE by clicking [cid:image003.png at 01D50F19.385AEE20]  in the top right hand corner. The browser will be reopen by itself.

3.       If you try to zoom into a place, it might take a while. It's a lot faster, if you type in the location.

Although, there were few glitches, I think it was very successful. We met a lot of people and everyone enjoyed revisiting their memory lanes.
