Good morning fellow council members,
This information came through via CUGA yesterday. Could be a good resource on our DEI page if others believe it is appropriate. Might be a good resource to share in the JLab Weekly as well.

Thanks,
Rebecca

Subject: [Cuga] Trans in Physics Community- a message from Allison Zec

My name is Allison Zec and I'm a member of a trans in physics network to allow trans and nonbinary physicists to share research, support each other and socialize. We have over 100+ members and support from several physics departments at various universities.

Link to Discord server: https://discord.gg/Q22Dwee7

Our server is open to trans and nonbinary people at all career stages, including undergrads, postgrads, faculty, research staff, and even physics enthusiasts and hobbyists! We are creating a safe non-judgmental environment to help trans physicists develop professionally and personally, and to make a few friends along the way. We regularly host social events as well as physics research talks in our server.

Please feel free to email me back if you have any questions!
