[Dcouncil] Pride Month

Thanks for sharing Rebecca.  I have been doing my own research identifying ways on how we can celebrate PRIDE Month in June.  I have reached out to Hampton Roads PRIDE and Hampton Roads LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

We look forward to hearing any ideas you all may have.

He has also volunteered to be a speaker for us (although I don’t know if there is cost associated with it).

Historically, there has been resistance to the lab’s LGBT+ community being featured, so I hesitate to do a feature like we did for the women’s round table or the AAPI event.

Looking forward to discussion on this.
