<p>The <b>menorah</b> (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hebrew_language" title="Hebrew language" target="_blank">Hebrew</a>: <span dir="rtl" lang="he">מְנוֹרָה</span> <span title="Representation in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA)" class="IPA"><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA_for_Hebrew" title="Help:IPA for Hebrew" target="_blank">[mənoːˈɾaː]</a></span>) is described in the Bible as the seven-lamp (six branches) ancient Hebrew lampstand made of pure gold and used in the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tabernacle_%28Judaism%29" title="Tabernacle (Judaism)" class="mw-redirect" target="_blank">portable sanctuary</a> set up by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moses" title="Moses" target="_blank">Moses</a> in the wilderness and later in the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_in_Jerusalem" title="Temple in Jerusalem" target="_blank">Temple in Jerusalem</a>. I was unable to attend the last meeting so forgive me if
these ideas were already discussed.<br>

During vacation I was thinking about how we could
communicate D&I information to the Lab personnel. I'm
curious as to what others think about a reoccurring D&I
section of the Labs On Target newsletter that addresses
things like:<br>
<ul>
<li>Interviews with people on D&I topics (example:
Hiring; Interview with Cassandra on the HR process)<br>
</li>
<li>D&I quiz that has 2-3 questions and answers on the
topic (example: What does STEM stand for?)<br>
</li>
<li>Myths about race, religion, sex, etc. (example: All
Middle East countries are Muslim)<br>
</li>
<li>How different religions, races, etc. celebrate
holidays (example: What do the seven lamps of the
Menorah symbolize?)</li>
</ul>
<p>Just a thought.</p>
