Dear Deep people,
apparently the deadline for the DNP meeting this Fall is THURSDAY, July 1 (although you wouldn't know it from looking at the official website). I would like to submit the abstract below (for a 12 min talk). Please let me know if there are any conflicts/objections, and/or any comments/improvements.
Thanks - Sebastian

\title{Neutron Structure Functions at Large $x$ from CLAS Measurements on Deuterium}
\begin{abstract}
The CLAS collaboration has measured inclusive structure functions in the resonance
region and at large $x$ in electron scattering on polarized and unpolarized
deuterium targets. In the unpolarized case, a pioneering spectator tagging method
was used to extract, for the first time, the structure function $F_{2n}$
of the neutron nearly
free from kinematic smearing and nuclear model uncertainties. In the polarized
case, the spin structure functions $g_1$ and $A_1$ of the neutron were extracted
using a new unfolding procedure, yielding the first data of this kind in the
resonance region. In my talk, I will discuss the techniques employed and
present the results of both experiments.
