Dear all,
attached is a SIDIS di-hadron abstract Orlando intends to submit
to the Italian Physics Society Congress (by the end of this week).
If you have suggestions, they are welcome.
Best regards, Marco.

Di-hadron studies in the Clas12 Spectometer

The CLAS12 spectometer (TJNAF, USA) started operations in February 2018. Since then, data from unpolarized liquid Hidrogen and Deuterium targets exposed to an intense high energy electron beam has been accumulated.

A significant part of the CLAS12 experimental program is devoted to the study of the internal structure of the nucleon, by mapping in 3D the spatial and momentum distributions of the quarks inside the nucleon.

The process studied is semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering (SIDIS), in which the scattered electron is detected in conjunction with the leading produced hadrons. The cross section for this process can be written as a series of terms containing combinations of partonic distribution and fragmentation functions that encode information on the dynamics of the confined quarks.

In this context, one of the most interesting process is the di-hadron one, in which two hadrons are detected in the final state.

Preliminary results of SIDIS Di-hadron measurements in CLAS12 experiment will be presented.
