Title: Neutral pion multiplicity studies in SIDIS at CLAS12

Abstract:
Semi-Inclusive Deep Inelastic Scattering (SIDIS) provides access to the 
transverse momentum–dependent parton distribution functions, enabling 
studies of the three-dimensional structure of the proton in momentum 
space. In addition, SIDIS measurements are a key tool for probing 
hadronization, offering constraints on fragmentation functions that 
describe how quarks produce final-state hadrons. This work focuses on 
neutral pion production in SIDIS at CLAS12, using 10.6 GeV electron 
beams on a hydrogen target. We present the current status of the 
analysis, including multiplicity extraction as a function of relevant 
kinematic variables and an evaluation of associated systematic 
uncertainties.
