[Deeppwg] [EXTERNAL] DPWG Meeting and Updates

Dear DPWG Colleagues,

We have no agenda items for tomorrow’s (Nov 6) DPWG meeting, so there will be no meeting tomorrow. I propose that we meet next during the Collaboration Meeting<https://indico.jlab.org/event/990/ >, unless there is an urgent matter for Nov 13, in that case, please let me know. Our session at CM includes many updates, so I anticipate good discussion, and there will also be DPWG contributions on the first day.
A few updates:

  1.
The DocDB server has been very unstable recently (going on and off). I filed several tickets, and the issue is being investigated. It is up now, but given its track record, I propose that we upload our meeting slides and preliminary release notes directly to the DPWG Wiki, which is password protected https://clasweb.jlab.org/Hall-B/dpwg/index.php/Meetings . We also learned that DocDB will be migrated to a new database server invenioRDM. I will let you know when I have more info on how the current documentation archived on docdb will be migrated and the expected timeline.
  2.
I started collecting the recent preliminary result release plots in good quality and documentation here: https://clasweb.jlab.org/Hall-B/dpwg/index.php/Preliminary_Results  so that they are all available in one place.
