<div><div dir="auto">Dear Kyungseon</div></div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">I do not have any correlation between variables in this analysis. I analyzed the resolutions on vertex variables directly, and you could say I took the error matrix to be diagonal. This is all I can do at the moment. I still think this work is valuable, in addition to quantify the resolution differences between GEMC and data, this work also addresses whether we have systematic pulls in the reconstruction of vertex variables, and the size of these pulls.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">I did not look at the existing correlation matrix in the data, as I understand when people say we cannot currently perform a kinematic fit, they mean that this error matrix is not final, or even maybe incorrect. I do hope that the tracking error matrix information will be updated for the next release. Otherwise I think it will be difficult to trust our kinematic resolutions for publication.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">If you take a look at the references to notes I sent, you can see people doing either method. Clearly the method using the tracking error matrix and correlations is better method, and what we want to use ultimately. </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Best regards</div><div dir="auto">FX</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Thu, Nov 14, 2019 at 4:58 PM Joo, Kyungseon <<a href="mailto:kyungseon.joo@uconn.edu">kyungseon.joo@uconn.edu</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">
