For those of you who have not yet seen the announcement, it seems
that the next detector R&D meeting will be January 13-14. We
will have to present a status report and update of our plans. We
should discuss more at the DIRC meeting next week.<br>

for funded EIC Detector R&D projects. Please distribute
to your collaborators, and other interested colleagues.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The next meeting of the EIC Detector
Advisory Committee is now scheduled for January 13-14, at
BNL. We were not able to find suitable dates in December. As
a result, the deadline for new proposals, funding requests,
and progress reports to be considered at this meeting has been
moved to December 13, 2013. These dates are now reflected on
the program’s web site,

, where you can also find the previous meeting agendas,
Committee reports, and proposals.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">As in the past, the Committee is asked to
comment on the overall direction of the program, to assess the
progress of each of the on-going projects, and to make
recommendations on funding requests for new or on-going
projects. Please let me know of the plans for your group to
be represented at the meeting and make a presentation. A
final agenda will be distributed and posted on the web page as
soon as possible after the December 13 deadline. In the
meantime I will contact each of the on-going projects to
confirm the status of your currently approved funding.<o:p></o:p></p>
