[Dlsupport] [ 1339] scattered beam envelopes in recovery transport

horizontal axis is distance along the machine in meters

vertical axis is +/-5 sigma beam envelope in m for beam scattered
(single event) at each of 15 slices along the target; the various curves
(alternately red and blue) show effect of finite target length.

dashed lines are vacuum chamber walls - horizontal (blue), vertical
(yellow/orange).

To calibrate, we have at time seen losses in places with 5 cm bore and 1
mm sigma, so the fill factor is (very) large...

>> I have attached a release version of the spreadsheet that lists the elements in the 4F line during the DarkLight run. The philosophy of this experiment is to use existing equipment wherever possible. We will be using skew quads and supports from the 3F line and the last few girders of the UV line (8F region). Column C is the position along the beam line. The number of significant figures indicate how well we care about the position. Those with 5 sig. figs. need to be aligned to the typical 250 um accuracy.
