[dsg-eic_dirc] Portable cleanroom structure that used to be in Test Lab?

Can we please, please, please stop e-mails on a discussion that was already completed
many months back? At that time some (4?) of us already had walkthroughs to look at
the situation and to consider the timing. At that time the idea of the portable tent was
already set aside and we found that the large tent in EEL-108 that was used for the
FCAL-2 seemed suitable in timing and place next to where the bars will go for QA.

We can do a walkthrough again if there are followup questions, mail is not the venue.

p.s. Scot: this is not against you, I understand your question, but there was earlier context.

Gents,

I don't see a photo attached here.

Please include attachments if your going to refer to them.

I'm not sure by this email thread what your requirements are. Please explain.

Hi Tim,

We would need it in late summer or early fall for a few months.

By the big cleanroom you mean the really big one in EEL108?

Cheers,

Greg

Good Morning Folks,

The portable cleanroom in the attached photo belongs to hall D. If you need to borrow it for some finite time, I am sure you can work something out with Scot. We also own a larger cleanroom in the EEL that may become available for use in the fall.

Cheers,

Nope. That's not it. I just checked my space monitors and
the cleanroom in question is currently sitting in the ESB.
See attached photo.

It appears to have some boxes stored in it. If it is not being
fully utilized, we may be able to work out an exchange where
those boxes are stored elsewhere.

I'm CCing Tim Whitlatch, because I believe it may be his
guys who are currently utilizing the portable cleanroom.

So that he can know what we're dealing with, how soon will
you need the portable cleanroom and how long will you
need it for.

Hi Walt,

Thanks for your reply.

I did find a portable cleanroom structure in the TED Highbay area (photo attached). Is this the only portable cleanroom structure the lab has?

The structure seems a lot smaller than I remember, so I'm guessing/hoping its that the structure collapses down to what is seen in the photo...

I believe it has been relocated to the TED Highbay, but I
would have to look to confirm that.

Hi Walt,

In the Test Lab near the large roll-up door facing the EEL building (building 58, room 1129), there used to be a portable cleanroom structure. However, within the past two weeks, the structure has been moved and is no longer near the roll-up door.

We've previously asked about whether that structure would be available to move to EEL 108 for the EIC DIRC quartz bar cleaning area.

Do you know whether the structure has been moved else where for another project?

Thanks!

-Tyler
