>From my view, I would say yes. Go ahead.
We argued with DOE to have the IEWO all signed to be able to do the transport before the
weather inclement starts, and they indeed pushed it through in FY23. So we can not go back,
and the transport should be somewhere in the mid-November to December time frame.
I am waiting to hear from Greg/Joe on if we have settled on the exact week with SLAC yet.

Subject: [dsg-eic_dirc] McMaster-Carr foam for EIC DIRC crates
Hi Greg,
After today's meeting, I went to McMaster to go forward with ordering 2-in total thickness, dual density foam for the EIC DIRC shipping crates.
The maximum quantity now available to be delivered this week is 12.
Anything more states that it will take 4 - 6 weeks.
I think we should place two separate orders: one for 12 sheets and a second for the remaining quantity. The 12 that would be delivered this week is enough for cutting the foam for the two brackets types, so that work could be done sooner.
Is this an acceptable plan? If so, I can submit the orders.
-Tyler
