[dsg-eic_dirc] Question about using material around EIC DIRC laser optical table to block stray exit window light?

Hi Jen,

Thanks for letting me know about the laser glasses.

I have a separate question about the laser set up.

There’s an exit light in the laser area that we’re concerned about effecting data acquisitions.

If we want to put a new, separate divider around the optical table to help block the exit light, can the material be anything dark and opaque? Or does it have to be specifically rated for laser safety?

Hello,

As discussed in today's (Aug. 21, 2023) meeting, we will be adding in-person meetings every other week starting August 28, 2023.

The existing remote meeting schedule will remain the same. The in-person meetings will be held during weeks there is not a remote meeting.

The in-person meetings will start at 2:00PM in EEL 108 near the EIC DIRC laser controlled area.
