Another issue with plastic is that if not purchasing a material from a laser safety vendor (specifying the laser wavelength and OD needs), we would need to verify that the material will attenuate the laser light. In the past when this has come up, I've asked
Laser Supervisors to test the material in their laser lab to verify attenuation. This may not be an option since the DIRC laser is not setup yet.<br>
