The EIC DIRC laser lab, in EEL 108, has a portable AC unit inside. As I understand it, a fresh air inlet needs to cut in the wall and a filter cover with a filter needs to be installed. I think the only requirement that the DIRC group has is that the room should

 be treated as a dark room, and the installed component not let light in.<br>

One of our DSG engineers (Tyler Lemon tlemon@jlab.org) is coordinating this laser setup, but we aren't qualified to design/install AC components, and have no idea what regulations must be adhered to.</div>
