[Dsg-halla] HCAL Cabling Project

Hi Bogdan,


This morning we started to get an understanding of the upcoming installation process for the cables in the Test Lab. DSG will need a detailed written procedure of how you want this project done. The procedure should include an installation diagram of the connections and storage of the service loops, with rough direction of cable path ways from point to point.


This procedure needs to include a Task Hazard Analysis of the overall job, from there it can be determined if any additional documents need to be generated (TOSP). Since the task will take longer than two weeks a Task List must be completed, per Physics Work Planning Governance.


Some of the specific hazards which will need to be addressed is working at heights, since a portion of the cables need to be stored above head height, and the area is compact. There may be a way to get a mechanical lift in to aid with this, provided there is space.
