Jessie,
According to Bogdan (see email below), you are aware of what baskets need to be moved in the ESB to make them accessible for looking for cables. Please let me know when they have been moved so DSG can continue with Hall A cable work.

Hello Mary Ann,
Yes, we have much more work to do on HCAL. I will finish APEX experiment by next Monday
and will be able to help with the document which we already sent.
Also Jessie told me last week that his team is ready to move the cages with cables - please
contact Jessie about moves needed in ESB.
Thank you,
Bogdan

Bogdan,
Since we haven't received any response to my last email to you, Amrit needs to know if you will be needing any further assistance from DSG on this project. If so, please provide more information, as requested.
Mary Ann

Bogdan, thanks for the document with the mapping schemes. I have two questions though.
For "short cables", are you referring to the cables that Mindy has completed and we have over here? When we met last, you mentioned a third set of cables that were ready, so I want to be sure what you are referring to.
Specifically, what pages of your document should we be looking at for the cables we will be installing?

Hi Mary Ann,
You are correct. Hall A tech group is still busy in the hall.
This week I got some help from two students and they will finish long cables
part of the project this week. So, may be your team can start installation of
the short cables which are ready. The maps are located here:
In that directory
(/u/group/halla/www/hallaweb/html/12GeV/SuperBigBite/documents/HCAL_maps)
There is a file called HCAL_Cable_Mapping_V1.2.pdf which is a summary of
all the maps and gives some further insight into mapping schemes.

Bogdan,
Since our last meetings on Jan 24th and 25th concerning the HCal cabling, we have not received any information from you. Amrit would like the status of this project so that he can schedule the needed manpower.
We noticed today that the baskets are still inaccessible in the ESB, making it impossible to look for more cables to be relabeled. You mentioned to us on the 25th that you had other cables that could be hooked up in the Test Lab, but we haven't received any diagrams. Have you started any safety documentation?
Please let us know where these issues stand.
Mary Ann
