Dear Amrit,

For the SBS experiment GMn (will start taking data in January 2021) I need to prepare a BigBite detector package including a preshower calorimeter. This detector has 54 blocks. Due to high luminosity in future experiment we plan to use radiation hard lead-glass from HERMES. The glass will be cut by a vendor.
Total 64 blocks will be cut. Each counter is 9x9x30 cm3
of glass with total weight of 25-30 lbs. After cutting blocks need to be cleaned, painted on the side of the cut, wrapped with Al mylar and 100 um Al foil.
