[Dsg-halla_ecal] Supermodule Assembly

DSG will need to use one of the tables in EEL 122 to perform assembly of Supermodules. There is a table which is empty for the most part, except a soldering station. I have placed the super module assembly tool on this table.

I have placed one inspected SM1 frame (#94) on this table to assemble a supermodule. All spacer measured ~10.45mm from the face of flange 2, with no noticeable cant. All screws were removed with no issues. The spacer glue joints were clean.

I have taped a 34cm (+/- 1cm with measurements to 1.25mm) paper template to the table and selected 9 lead-glass assemblies. These assemblies all measure ~34cm.

Prior to SM assembly, the light guides will need to foil wrapped and taped, per the procedure. After that DSG can assemble a supermodule to verify the procedure is correct. I am procuring some Loctite for the springs, but I have found a flange 1, with the springs glued and placed it on the table.

I will set a meeting for Tuesday (11/2/21) at 2pm Jlab time so we can discuss the assembly procedure. I'll send the meeting agenda on Monday morning 11/1/21.
