Hi Rick,
Albert Shahinyan is not on-site. He will probably get back with you later this evening (time change from Armenia), but he does have personnel he works with on-site. So any meeting with him will have to be coordinated ahead of schedule.
Bogdan Wojtsekhowski is in charge of the ECAL detector and has knowledge on the test they are setting up. If you have questions, he is a good source of information.
I am with the Detector Support Group, we are developing the controls and monitoring for the heaters which will be used in the annealing process.
Regards,
Marc

Albert,
Good Morning. Could we get together to discuss your heater plan?
Thanks.

Rick,
This project may be a good one to have a look at and talk with physics division personnel.
Physics Division senior staff scientist: Bogdan Wojtsekhowski, User: Albert Shahinyan and Senior staff engineer: Marc McMullen.
See message below.

Hi Albert,
I am working on the basic monitoring and controls system (for 1 supermodule/heater) in the EEL building. Once I have a good test, I can then expand this for the whole system.
For your test I recommend you contact Bert Manzlak and the area safety warden for the building you will be testing in. They will probably want a HallA-List at the least. Also you should send them the specification for the heaters.
The 11 prototype heaters DSG procured can be applied to flange 1 of the supermodule. These are designed specifically for use on conductive surfaces (insulated). I can show one of your staff how I applied the heater on to the super module if they have not already done this.
I will keep everyone updated on the controls and monitoring testing.
Marc

Hi Marc,
Very soon we will be testing the new heater which you recommend.
I plan to use the new heater only on the front dinner module.
To heat the super modules on the side, use old heather.
Heat the calorimeter around the perimeter also use old heater?
When wrapping an aluminum bar on 3 super modules heater , it will be
normal and safe and secure?
How do you all think about it?
Thank you,
Albert
