[Dsg-halla_ecal] Supermodule inventory

Hi Albert,

I just wanted to provide an update of the ECAL inventory of supermodules and parts. During the verification of the inventory, we found 1 more supermodule, which has been added to the inventory. You also provided an additional 30 cut springs and 28 uncut springs which will make 56 springs (86 total springs delivered on 2/10).

These parts have been added to the inventory. We will resume supermodule assembly with the 86 springs you delivered today.

The final count from today is 154 of 192 completed supermodules. 38 supermodules are needed to complete the project. The breakdown is 14 short modules and 24 long modules.

To complete the project we will still need 8 wrapped lead-glass assemblies, which you said you and Bihn are working on.

We will need 9 long frames. Per our discussion, I will look at the frame parts and verify how many long frames can be assembled from the parts. With the parts on hand, that number will be no more than 4. Again, these are not part of the count until I can verify that they can be assembled into frames. I will have that information for you by Monday.

Hi Albert,

I completed the inventory of all the supermodules on 02/08/2022. I have also counted the lead-glass assemblies and the frames. These numbers will let you know what will be needed to complete 192 supermodules.

I counted a total 153 supermodules on all the shelves in EEL 126 and in the test stand in the Test Lab. This includes the 20 DSG has assembled this year. There is a balance of 39 supermodules to reach 192. The types of modules are not even, there are 81 short module and 72 long modules. In addition there are only 334 lead-glass assemblies which are already wrapped with film and copper in EEL 122 and 126. Lastly, I counted all the pre-assembled frames. There are only 32 total frames. We have enough short frames, but more of the longer frames are needed. I have written in comments on the parts which have shortages which need to be addressed in order to complete the project. The "Need" column does not account for any spares of any parts or supermodules.

I will be at the lab tomorrow to look at the leftover frame parts we found in EEL 122, at best these parts might make 3 long frames. I will not add them to the count until they are pre-assembled and checked.
