The computer center recommended against using the old machine (circa 2017) to build on so I purchased a laptop which they are setting up now. I hope they are done soon. I told them we need LabVIEW 2019 and automatic sleep/shutdown stifled.

Hi Don,

Was there any progress on setting up Jack's or any computer? What is the plan for start up?

I have sent over the list of PVs to Ellen, not sure if there is progress on that yet either.

Hi Don,


Here is the info on Jack's PC (segalpc)
The property tag# is F430060
It is a Windows machine and is on the 72...standard jlab subnet
It does not have LabVIEW.

The new owner will need to put in a CC request to move it to the Hall A development subnet, or physically move it to the hall/counting house and connect it to the same subnet as dsgtest-9045.

It also needs LabVIEW 19. I have attached a screenshot of the software setup for my computer as a reference.
