<div></div>
<div>
<div dir="ltr">Hi Mark, Bogdan, and Don,</div>
<div dir="ltr"><br>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">The ECAL heater <span style="font-size:inherit">controls equipment for the six-supermodule teststand has been moved to Hall A. </span></div>
<div dir="ltr"><br>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">A network cable has been connected to the cRIO and I have verified that I can remotely ping it. I still need to connect remotely from the DSG hall A computer to make sure I can monitor and control the system remotely. <span style="font-size:inherit">Meanwhile,
I have connected locally in order to continue the installation. </span></div>
<div dir="ltr"><br>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">I have verified that the controls software is reading the connected temperature sensors used to control the five power supplies. </div>
<div dir="ltr"><br>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">In addition to installing the equipment, I have installed a local power kill button which is part of the safety controls. When pressed it will remove coil power from the relays in the relay box, which will open the contacts which supply power
to all heaters. The power kill button is in series with the Omega process controller. The power kill button will lock in the safe position when pressed and has to be rotated to return to the unpressed position. </div>
<div dir="ltr"><br>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">Monday I will continue the installation. The following tasks still need to be completed. </div>
<div dir="ltr"><br>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<ol>
<li> Connect the control voltage cable from the cRIO to the power supply disconnect box and test</li><li>Test the safety controls</li><li>Perform a low temperature system test</li><li>Lower system into the radiation bunker </li></ol>
<div dir="ltr">After the system has been fully tested I will set a meeting to go over the test setup. </div>
