I plan to go into the Hall tomorrow under controlled access and first try unplugging the power supply for a few minutes and then plugging it back in to see if something resets and it starts working again. If that doesn't work, I have prepared a new one that
is ready to swap in. Even with the other zones working harder, they are not able to make up for the loss of this zone and crystals on the right side are 40 degC cooler. To forestall any ambiguity about resulting transparency of the heated crystals I think
we should ensure they stay near their design temperatures until the end of beam.</div>

<p>The right aluminum channel (AL-Right) has stopped outputting current. The controls system is demanding max current as it is trying to keep it to the set point.</p>
<p>Since that channel is not working, I have set it low (20 C) to prevent the controls from trying to run it to max output.
</p>
<p>I have informed the Hall A contact (Don Jones) so he can look into the channel supply.</p>
