DSG has installed the DSG developed eight channel prototype GEM gas distribution system components in the TEDF highbay. The Raspberry Pi is running on the 86 subnet under hostname dsg-dev-sbc. The GEM group should notify the system owner (Jack Segal) prior to connecting the gas supply. Once the supply is connected the UVA GEM should be connected to (std flow ch1 to ch4) on the output side of the Gas Flow Sensor chassis, which is located on the back of the rack. DSG will provide remote support and provide access to a startup guide for the software.
