Hi Marc,

Okay I just checked gas flow coming out of channel 13 and I see gas flow. Wierd.

We definetely did not have any gas flow from this channel yesterday. We will keep an eye on it.

Hi Marc,

No one of us made a mistake today and did not turn up the gas. It is running back again now. Thank you for catching that Marc!

And yes we turned down channel 13 and plugged the gas tube of that GEM to channel 35 just so we can use the GEM. I will check the flow out from channel 13 in a bit.

Currently the gas is shut off to the SBS supply panel. Maybe Jack is working on something.

In the meantime, I checked the internal connections in that chassis. Everything looks good. When the gas is restored, check to see if there is flow from ch13. Right now there is no output gas line connected, I’m assuming someone moved it to a different channel to supply the GEM.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] SBS GEM gas panel channel 13 not giving out gas

Hi Marc and all,

We are having an issue with channel 13 of the SBS GEM gas panel. We saw that the GEM connected to this channel is not giving out any signals; when we checked the gas from the gas channel connected to this GEM, we found that there is no gas flow (it still showed that there is flow in the webpage in that channel).
When we did a little bit of troubleshooting in the gas panel, we found that there is in fact gas flow coming into the chassis with the gas flow sensors (mass flow controllers?) but no gas flow coming out from it for channel 13.

Could you please help us with this issue?
