Hi Bill,
I spoke with the DSG manager about this project and we will not be able to provide support until January.
If this works for your, I’ll coordinate a meeting with you and George Jacobs and some of the other DSG staff after the break.
Regards,
Marc

Hi Bill,
After the holiday I will ask our gas system specialist, George Jacobs, to contact you about the system.

Hi Marc,
I’m sorry, I meant to say flow meters not bubblers. The typical flow is 400cc/min for each chamber.
The GEMs will move to the hall in early/mid December.
Thanks,
Bill Henry

Hi Bill,
I’m going to forward your request so the whole group can see it. I’m pretty sure we don’t have leftover bubbler parts. But maybe someone in DSG has a lead on something helpful.
Can you also provide any timeframe information for the project.
Regards,
Marc

Hi Marc,
The upcoming LAD experiment will be using two GEM chambers, I have identified gas lines to take the gas mixture from the Hall C gas shed to the hall. I was wondering if your group has leftover bubblers and parts from the gas panels that were made for Hall A. This system is much smaller than SBS, the gas panel would only need one regulator to bring the pressure to ~7psi, a unit to split the supply line to two 1/4 ID gas lines and a couple of flow meters. Holly has some high purity gas filters that would need to be added as well. Does your group have the resources to help make such a panel?
Regards,
Bill Henry
