The spots with broken pieces generate dust when people walk on

<p class="MsoNormal">I just wanted to give an update on the
status of the gowning area and clean room as we all try to
pull together to get it back into shape.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">There are boxes of disposable gowning
supplies in the gowning area, with various sizes. Please do
not reuse gowning.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Signage has been posted to ensure all users
are informed to not reuse gowning, all gowning should be
discarded at the end of a shift.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Hair nets and booties are in the supplies
locker. Keeping these items in the locker will help keep the
area clean.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">All gowning should be put inside the trash
can at the end of a shift.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The small waste bin is very useful, at the
end of the day please put it outside the gowning room and it
will be emptied by the Janitorial contractors.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Yesterday facilities management performed
preventative maintenance on the air handling system for the
clean room and air shower. In all 19 filters were changed, 9
of which are hepa-filters.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Users should only keep the roll up doors
open long enough to move equipment in and out. This will
reduce the recovery time for the system as it works to keep
the particle count low. Signage has been posted on the roll up
door near the pull chain.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I have requested facilities management to
put these on a quarterly change out. With the hepa-filters
changed as deemed by the system developed by facilities
management.

<p class="MsoNormal">Lastly, I have requested that the floor in
the gowning area be stripped and waxed. I will send another
update when this has been completed. We have also resumed the
janitorial cleaning schedule which existed pre-MEDCON.</p>
