Good morning all,
Yes. I am currently running a software License Manager on a central
server for you guys, for some of your Siemens software license(s).
My associated server computer name is "cadlm2".
* See my screen shot below, showing the license(s) that are managed on
that server, "cadlm2".
* FYI - According to the server logs, the following group and user
accounts have recently accessed those licenses;
(license users from 2/15/24 to present)
ssgpss, << group account
aguilar
anbazhag
metcalf
jkowal
I was aware that there are other Siemens License Manager installations
at JLAB. But I don't know who manages those, or what the server
hostname(s) are.
Amrit has requested that I transfer the license(s) from "cadlm2" to Arron.
Is Arron currently running a separate License Management server, hosting
other Siemens licenses?
I am not familiar with Siemens' process for requesting a license
transfer from one server to another.
But, I do see a menu option for "License Key - Offline Transfer".
Do I need to initiate the transfer request with Siemens? Or does the
license "owner" need to handle that with the vendor, Siemens?
Please let me know what additional information you might need from me.
