[Dsg-halla_magnets] Powering off back strip on CLEO rack

Hi,

I am finished for the day with testing the CLEO racks and I am powering off the back power strip for the low voltage power supplies.
I am leaving the power strip for the PLC and I/O modules on, but this can be turned off if this in any way impedes wiring of the rack.

Grounding the back plane of the Dataforth signal conditioners to the rack reduced the noise on the temperature sensosr by a factor of 8. Signals are still sensitive to touching the rack and grounding effects. All back planes should be grounded as well as the PLC I/O modules.

I also tested a pressure gauge for the LN2 circuit. Signal was seen and a rough calibration was made. The backplane for that bank of Dataforth conditioners is not yet grounded.

It would be good to have a schedule on when people are planning to work on the rack. I can work around other's schedule. If it is not advisable to power up the racks due to ongoing wiring work, lets put a sign up (piece of paper at the least) that states this.

Thanks again for the work.

Steven
