Marc,

Can you order 4 of the rods from the McMaster Carr link below?

It would be under PHALLA.AEXP as the charge code.

Thanks

The drawings AJE-0129 and AJE-0132 only indicate M10 threads without pitch. My experience is metric bolts have a standard thread pitch which is never stated in drawings. If the pitch is noted then if is non-standard like a fine pitch. If I was placing bet I would order 1.5 on the pitch.

I do not have a way to purchase from McMaster (no credit card). I someone in your group has the card then please get them to order the rods. Do not use CLEOMR anymore as it is out of funds. Try AEXP instead.

Hi Whit,

I'd like to order some sections of threaded rod to temporarily install on the turret to allow us to hold the large instrumentation flange away from the turret while keeping a gap between the flanges.

I only have the flange side drawing, not the turret, which only has M10 as the bolt size. Can you let me know the pitch from the turret drawing if it has it. Otherwise maybe I should just assume the more common 1.5mm pitch?

Is that something you can purchase or should I have someone from our group order them?

I figured 4x of these rods would work: https://www.mcmaster.com/94185A590/
I picked stainless steel since that's what the turret is made of and for whatever reason 316 is cheaper that 18-8.

Thanks
Brian
