The voltage output range of the Dataforth module is -10 V to + 10 V, I guess that rating to 40 V the cables from the Dataforth to the the PLC terminal is just to be on the safe side.</div>

The signal conditioners will clamp at 40V so any wiring upstream of the dataforth needs to be rated higher, from the dataforth to the PLC terminal strip can be 40V.</div>

40V rating is also all that is require of any wring after the dataforth, like from the PLC terminal strip to the I/o module.<br>

(see attached screenshot for Dwg A00000-16-03-0250 Voltage Tap Wiring Diagram, e.g. cable #250-01), but first we need to know what is the voltage expected in these cables?</span></div>

we will monitor only 40 V and not the actual voltage value. Is this the correct setup to monitor the voltage taps?</span></div>
