I approve of the Dataforth model SCM5B31-09D signal conditioner for use on the CLEOII magnet based on the standard

ANSI/IEEE C37.90.1. in ANSI-IEEE standard issued in 2002</span> for the upcoming low current testing.</div>

readout, to ensure that modules can handle voltages produced by the magnet during a quench.</span></div>

<div><span style="font-size:11pt; font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif; color:rgb(0,0,0)">We've been able to check the transient input protection rating code ANSI/IEEE C37.90.1. in ANSI-IEEE standard issued in 2002 and based on it, the Dataforth module
would be adequate to operate with the expected voltages in the magnet (Voltage peaks of ~ 350 V, based on CLEO-II Oxford Manual) , but we do not know if the standard has changed on its newer issued version.
