The connector mounted on the box is a female connector with male pins. The connector in your hand is a male connector with male pins.

<div dir="ltr">The cable is located next to the current lead turret, next to the signal pinouts ( the ten pin feed thrus).</div>
<div dir="ltr">Either the connector can be replaced/repaired in place or the cable can be extracted and hung over the edge (with effort) to be at ground level.</div>
<div dir="ltr">Read and Sign the tosp for the lift before going up in it.</div>
<div dir="ltr">I don’t know anything about requesting female pins in a male connector. The connector should mate properly with the connector on the resistor box.</div>

box is configured incorrectly. It seems that pins were used in a socket connector.
