Subject: CO2 supply

Good afternoon folks,

Well I was going to send email this morning about the DC-Gas pages over the weekend but I think you have all
thouroghly covered that issue. I do have one issue I would like to bring up though. Currently the CO2 supply is
soely dependent on human interaction to maintain pressure and swap out Dewars. I assume this is a task that will
fall mainly on the Hall B staff and specifically the engineering on call personel, most of which are going to
have minimal system knowledge starting out. I would like to propose that we add two pressure trancducers to the
CO2 supply manifold and pipe the signals into the alarm handler. This will tell us via alarm when the CO2 dewars
need attention without having to rely on one of us to check the dewars a couple times a day. Thoughts?

Regards
Denny
