[Dsg-ft] MVT at Jlab in June for Central Tracker integration

Dear All

I confirm we are planning to come at Jlab early June for the MVT installation in Ell building.
The goal is to do what we had done in December 2015 with the SVT4-MVTB2 but this time with the final configuration, SVT3-MVTB6.
The central tracker will take data this summer before integration in hall B in ~October

Here is a tentative schedule:
Week 1 (05/29 to 06/03) assemble and test MVT in grey hall.
Week 2 (06/05 to 06/10) SVT and MVT assembly in clean room , survey and first test.
From the 06/12 to ~end of summer data with cosmic of the central tracker.
During our stay we will also mount/test the FTT in Eel, and check future integration in hall B


For this operation we will be several from Saclay
Arrival:

·       Maxime is already there at Jlab, he is our contact person.

·       Maxence Vandenbroucke and me will arrive from Philadelphia (MPGD conference at temple university) the 05/28

·       Remi Granelli (detector), Olivier Meunier (mechanics), Quentin Bertrand (Gas and PLC) and Guillaume Christiaens (physic) will arrive the 05/29

·       Irakli Mandjavidze (electronic) and Yassir Mouden (DAQ) will arrive on the 06/02

·       Franck Sabatie will arrive the 06/06
Departure:

·       Olivier and Quentin leave on the 06/07

·       Remi, Maxence, Yassir, Irakli and me will leave on the 06/09

o   Irakli and I will take air plane ticket with possible modification, if needed we could stay longer

·       Franck leaves the ~06/13

·       Maxime and Guillaume stay at Jlab this summer.

We need help from several peoples from Jlab and some material during those week.

On week 1 we need assistance of George (gas) and Nathan (gas PLC with EPIC) and Yuri (prepare SVT-MVT)
On week 2 we need assistance of Yuri (SVT), Bob and Steve (MVT on SVT assembly), and survey group (before and after SVT-MVT assembly and forward integration)
Also Sergei is needed (Irakli will give details)
When going to Hall B to check/prepare future integration we will need help of Eugene (I will send more detail on that)

In hardware we need only few things:
Gas: Argon bottle in grey room (leak check of the 24 detectors prior integration in MVT) and Ar+10%iso (premix or mixed) on 06/01 (cosmic Sunday 04 before clean room). I am at your disposal for any information in order to have safety document done before we arrive.
Table and chair and some space (like last time) in grey hall.
Micromegas test bench: we bring hardware to make a test bench of micromegas detector in Eel building, this test bench will stay in Jlab to test detector (spare) when needed, for this test bench we need one high voltage unit with 2 channels (CAEN 142b or similar).
This test bench install can be prepare in June and done/finished in ~October.

Like Franck said we will take on ticket this week, the 4 boxes (2 detector, 1 mechanics, 1 electronics) will leave Saclay the 05/15 to be there prior our arrival.
The 05/29 being holiday, we (Maxime, Maxence and me) will concentrate only on opening the boxes and start to dismount MVT-B2 (small mechanics, nothing plug).

With this mail is a excel schedule, more design for sequencing the job than detail schedule.

We will do the Jlab visit demands (invitation letter, badge, hotel,car,…) next week.
