Hi Raffaella,
Either card will be fine, though we believe that the module interface inside of the chiller is the source of the problem. Switching to digital modules will most likely not solve the problem, however we can try it.
Regards,
Amanda

Subject: Re: [Dsg-ft] Analog card test
Hi Amanda,
thanks a lot for running this test. Based on this I agree that using the
analogue card with the FT chilled is not an option.
Before going for the Bira box, Another possibility would be to try the
digital modules
* LRZ 915 (3 programmable inputs and 3 programmable outputs)
* LRZ 914 (1 programmable inputs and 1 programmable outputs)
Both of these allows to send the chiller in standby mode and were
suggested by the Lauda representative for our purposes.
If you think it is worth trying, we will arrange to purchase the module
that you find more suitable,
Best regards,
Raffaella

A pump power of 1 appears to be the lowest level that the SVT chiller pump can be set to. The FT chiller allowed for a pump power of 0 to put the pump into standby mode, which is a feature the SVT chiller does not seem to have. When the pump power was dropped to the lowest level, the temperature did not vary.
