Subject: Working Safely
Hi,
In addition to my duties as a designer with the DSG, I am also one of
the Physics safety wardens for the EEL. Just a quick reminder on working
safely, as the FT is being moved from the building to the hall.
Please use the appropriate safety gear (PPE) when moving heavy objects,
such as safety shoes and gloves(when necessary).
Try to use mechanical devices to carry loads greater than 40lbs, such as
carts or pallet jacks.
This is just a reminder to work safely, to reduce the chance of injury
or damage to fragile equipment. If you need help locating a cart, ask a
lab employee or you can come fine me upstairs in room 231, or Paul Hood
in the high bay.
Thanks for your cooperation,
Marc
