Indeed, we plan to move the CVT during the 1st week of November.

CVT integration took place in May. There will be no MVT shimming.

Next week there will be work in the clean room on replacing the
tiles of the outer BMT layer.

There is some work to be done by the DSG for the SVT:

- patch panel rework
(scheduled for this week)

- CSS GUI for the hardware interlock (waiting for DSG to provide
the date when it can be installed and tested)

We are taking the CVT cosmic data for alignment.

In October we will continue taking alignment data, work on the
trigger rate issue, and verify stability and performance of the
central tracker in the clean room. There are no plans to move the
CVT to EEL125.

Irakli will assemble the MM DAQ test stand in EEL125 when he
comes next week. He made arrangements with Sergey and FE group.

Hello Walt,

In regards to the layout of EEL 124, it was
decided some time ago that RICH would be able to
use the entire cleanroom once SVT and MVT have
moved to Hall B.

SVT/MVT installation is planned for October,
but if it is delayed, could we move plan to move
SVT/MVT into a staging area to free up space in
EEL 124 for RICH assembly?

This staging area for SVT/MVT could be EEL 125
in the area previously occupied by FT. This area
is now only occupied by chairs, tables, and other
stuff left behind by FT.

If the former FT area in EEL 125 is cleared
soon, it would also open a path for the SVT/MVT to
be taken out of EEL 124 via the back roll-up door,
giving more space in EEL 124 for RICH assembly as
a pathway would not need to be clear to the front
roll-up door.

Please let us know whether the former FT area
can be cleared out, as RICH will soon need more
space for its assembly.

Best regards,
