Hi Maxime,

I have verified that the FMT WANTGAS signal is set to false. The
MFCs will not try to flow gas to Mix 1 buffer tank.

Hi Denny and Bob,

The Mix 1 circuit is no longer in use. Please provide DSG with
advanced notice when the MFCs are scheduled for removal. This
should be coordinated with the SVT, MVT, FT, and HTCC detector
managers because the software will need to be stopped briefly when
it is updated. This should be done during day shift when no beam
is needed, due to the fact that HTCC may need to switch to the
manual rotameter for a brief period (< 1hr) and then back to
the MFC.

Thanks,

Hi Maxime,

Hall B Engineering has informed DSG that the Mix 1 circuit is
not currently needed for MVT/FT operations, and there are no
current plans to connect a detector to Mix 1. If this is the
case, please change the gas request Boolean,
(B_DET_FMT_GAS_WANTGAS) which is being sent from the Saclay
Gas Controls system so that it is not requesting gas.

Once this signal status has been changed, the mass flow
controllers will no longer supply gas to fill that tank. It
can then be pressure relieved, manually.

If the MVT Mix 1 MFCs are no longer needed, they should be
uninstalled from the gas panel and returned to the DSG to
prevent any unnecessary exposure to the weather.

disconnecting the MFCs) if and when it is
