Some equipment required more fiddling than others, but we managed to bring everything back online this morning.
Thanks

Brian,
Last night after debugging the fiber for a couple hours we decided to reboot the switch. After the switch rebooted the uplink came up and connectivity to the switch was restored. Full connectivity should have been restored by at least 7:12 last night. Please let me know if you are still seeing connectivity issues with any of the equipment in the gas shed.

Great, thanks for the update.
Hopefully everything will just magically come back online and won't require us to go in and poke at them.

It looks like the transceiver for the uplink in the Hall B switch died. Andrew is going to go grab a new one from Cebaf Center.

Sounds good, let me know what Andrew finds in the gas shed.
I think, but am not positive, that both of these are powered from the same UPS so if one is still working that is a good sign at least.

We got notice right before you emailed at 3:03 PM that b96b-sw went down. It has not come back up since then. That is the switch that provides Hall B networks inside the gas shed. The other switch, b96b-sw-2, which provides desktop-like networks, seems to be working fine. I believe Andrew is going on-site this afternoon, so he may be able to pop in the gas shed and check the switch out.

Brent/Carl,
There are switches (I think 2, but not sure what is plugged into where) in the Hall B gas shed and I can't seem to ping any of the devices in the gas shed and was wondering if you could see if the switch itself was alive?
Thanks
