The ALERT group will set up their detector in the EEL as early as February, they did not seem to have a firm date.


Most of the Bonus gas system and controls will be reused.  The changes are to control the pressure in the detector using the mixed gas.  We will add a small buffer tank after the detector with a PT and  a TT, and a control valve after the tank to control the pressure at 1050 mbar, based on the PT.  In order to provide a pressure differential across the valve, we will add a surge tank with a PT, control valve, and pump to maintain the surge tank at 800-900 mbar.


I will work on an updated P&ID for ALERT.
