Thanks Brian,

Bob,

If we use these MFCs instead of our standard MKS models. These should provide all the needed data (temperature, pressure, and flow) , while operating at a lower differential pressure. The flow range is lower as well 0.5% to 100% of full scale (2.5 to 500 sccm)

Bob,

Do the materials matter (EPDM, FFKM, Viton, etc)? There’s quite a few options available. The default is Viton.

See this page: https://www.alicat.com/documentation/part-number-decoder/#g_tab-0-0-vert-5

Also, do these need to be helium leak checked or is that not needed? I saw that was an option available. It probably just adds some cost/time to it which is why I wanted to ask you.

Just as a FYI these MFCs also can read out pressure and flow temperature so it saves on additional instrumentation.

Marc,

Unless Bob wants different fittings/materials this is the part number: MCW-500SCCM-TFT-MODTCPIP-IPJ-.5COMP

MCW = Whisper series flow controller
500SCCM = 500 SCCM full scale
TFT = TFT display
MODTCPIP = Modbus TCP/IP for communication
IPJ = industrial power jack, locking barrel
.5COMP = 1/2” Swagelock compression fittings

I was told that the default lead time is 3 weeks if they aren’t a standard part number (which this isn’t), but that will need to be confirmed once a quote is generated.

The Power cable is in their store, not sure on the part number though.
