Hi Brian,
<div><br>
</div>
<div>We need three long cables with LEMO REDEL connectors and flying leads on the other end. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>We have four multiwire cables with flying leads on both ends. We do not have any LEMO REDEL connectors.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I talked to Fast Electronics Group couple of days earlier regarding three cables needed for the HTCC. I have shown them one short ready to go cable assembled by DSG for the SVT as a sample. Turned out they do not have tools to work with LEMO REDEL and
suggested to contact DSG since DSG have built cables for the SVT.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I talked to Yuri Gotra about cables for him and he informed me: "All handled by DGS".</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>That is why I am asking DSG for help also because all cables (total about 150) currently in use for the HTCC have been assembled also by DSG.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I would like to meet you to discuss/decide what needs to be done to solve the problem we have asap.</div>
<div>Thank you.</div>
<div>Best regards,</div>
Youri

Dear Amrit,
<div><br>
</div>
<div> Currently High threshold Cerenkov Counter (HTCC) in Hall B is using CAEN HV power supply. This source is too noisy and therefore filters were required. Besides PMTs used in HTCC sometime unexpectedly significantly change gains. It is totally unacceptable
since HTCC is part of CLAS12 trigger. So our experience with CAEN forces us to replace it with WIENER power supply. We have WIENER crate, HV modules, HV distribution box. We also have multiwire HV cables but no connectors.</div>
<div> Please, I would like to ask DSG build for us three cables equipped with multi-contact male connectors REDEL SAG SH 1 (only one end of each cable, other ends stay as is with no connector). I do have sample short (only 6 ft long) cable with REDEL
connector build/assembled by DSG. In other words DSG has good experience dealing with REDEL connectors. I am ready to provide DSG group with three long cables and (just in case) sample short cable at any time.</div>
<div>Thank you in advance.</div>
<div>Best regards,</div>
Youri
