hi maurizio,
there are indeed very small leaks in the gas lines.
about 3% of the LTCC leaks, i think, stems from the valves piping.
i suspect these leaks are from the "quater century" old valves.
even some new valves, those recently procured for the MVT, tend to have some minuscule leak.
so:
DSG will help determine the leaks.
if the leaks are the valve sites, you would have to buy new valves to fix them.
if the leaks are at the pipe joints, we can fix them with toothpaste/chewing gum (JK!)
brian and marc are in the process of quantifying the leaks.

Subject: LTCC gas system leak checks
Hi Amrit,
While waiting on Brian's number it seems to me (please correct me if I'm wrong) that there are indeed small leaks in the gas line (sector 4).
I suspect we're going to have small leaks in the gas lines in all sectors.
David today or tomorrow will jumper sector 5 as well. Sector 3 (big leaker) will be next.
I talked with Patrizia and she agree that it is important to find and fix those asap, would DSG be able to do it?
Thanks,
Mauri
