<div>LTCC S5 C4F10 Fill Status<br>
</div>
<br>
<div>LTCC S5 is currently filling. I have attached the
pressure strip chart showing the 2 pressure transducer
outputs.<br>
</div>
<br>
<div>The blue line is the transducer located at the detector
gas inlet, This is located at the lowest point of the
detector volume. <br>
</div>
<br>
<div>The brown line is the output of the pressure transducer
connected to the pressure protection bubbler. (was the S4
transducer)<br>
</div>
<br>
<div>9:30am 22 Jan 2018 - turned C4F10 flow on.<br>
</div>
<br>
<div>11:20 am Spliced the pressure protection
bubbler into the S5 Exhaust/Vent line</div>
<br>
<div>1:40 pm Disconnected the pressure protection
bubbler from the gas lines in order to reduce oil level to
2.5 inches<br>
</div>
<br>
<div>2:15 pm Reconnected piping to pressure
protection bubbler<br>
</div>
<br>
<div>18:10 pm Pressure is limited by the Vent
bubbler oil level. Fill continues, increasing the pressure
at the gas inlet, blue line. Brown line indicated pressure
at the protection bubbler is also increasing, but at a
lesser rate, due to C4F10 carry over into the exhaust.</div>
<br>
<div>This is a good start. </div>
<br>
<div>Leak Check Required - Since I spliced in the S4 Bubbler
and removed the bubbler piping in order to changed the oil
levels in it, these connection should be leak checked
ASAP. As can be seen on the pressure chart, detector
pressure was very low when I reconnected the lines. Not
enough pressure for a good leak check. An additional leak
check should be performed using the sniffer, both at the
bubbler connection splice Tee and the Bubbler piping
connections. <br>
